Derek & Jaime Wedding Preview {Anchorage Wedding Photographer}

Well, I am back from my trip to Idaho Falls to shoot Derek and Jamie's wedding. I had a great time (I only fell down once). Derek and Jamie where a great couple to photograph and their families were awesome as well. I am so glad they gave me the chance to go with them to Idaho. I must admit, I was jealous of the beautiful weather they were having! Anyways, I have a lot of photos to go through and thought I would post a couple that caught my eye. Enjoy!

Amazing House {Anchorage Photographer}

This has got to be one of the most amazing homes I have ever seen. This photo was taken for a commercial client here in Anchorage, and I just loved it so much, I had to share it.

Testing a Few Things {Anchorage Family Photographer}

Since I had a hard time going back to sleep this morning, I decided to try out a couple new things with editing. I kind of liked these but thought since I was running on empty in the sleep tank, I had better ask and see if other people like this or not. So, what do you think? I also got a new logo thanks to Jason Echols and thought I should add that to the images as well. So I am curious to hear your thoughts, do you like this or is this just not quite what we are looking for?

Little Boys World

What on earth can possible be more exciting to a three year old boy other than having your face painted like Spiderman and then getting to hold a baby duck?

This image was taken earlier in the summer at the Alaska Airlines summer party. We have some good friends that continue to invite us back to this great family event in Anchorage. I love the intensity in Dayton's face as he holds his baby duck.

R&R in Turnagain Arm

I have had such a long hard summer this year and it was time to get some R&R, so me and some photography buddies headed to Turnagain Arm to do some rock climbing. Now, let me be honest, yours truly went to take pictures of people rock climbing. Anyways, we had a great time and it felt awesome to sit back and have some fun. I was bummed I did not really get any good shots of Gil, but here are some great one's of Davis. The wind was howling which cut our trip short. I guess we need to be safe when doing these things. Thanks guys for helping me get out and enjoy Alaska!

Good Use of Dirt

I recieved a call the other day from an Anchorage landscaping company looking to get some photos of their work. Of course I decided to give it a shot, especially since my wife's degree is in that field. Overall I had a great time digging in the dirt to find some good angles (Sorry for that). Anyways, I really enjoyed myself and I am very pleased with the results. I did not include the pictures with the home since I did not have their permission, but I thought these were great shots. Which one is your favorite? Also, can anyone guess the set up for these shots?

Mom's and Babies {Anchorage Family Photograher}

I have to say one of my favorite things to photograph lately is a mother playing with her child. There is something so special and it always makes an amazing photo.
