The Garden

Owning a top floor condo can have it's perks, and can definitely make life harder, but that does not stop this dedicated gardener. Trina grew up with a garden her whole life. She spent most of her summer days weeding, and weeding, and weeding some more. She really grew to appreciate it. When we moved in to our condo that did not stop her from creating a garden wherever she could. It is so fun to see her get so excited over these little green things sprouting up out of the baskets hanging three stories up. I guess it really does not matter where you live, but how you live.

Mikey Siria

A good friend of mine Matt and his family will be moving soon, so I offered to take some photos of their boy Mikey. He was so much fun and very hard to contain. We decided to just let him go and be himself. I think these photos show who Mikey really is in this stage of life. We will miss you Matt and Julie!

The Girls

We had a great Memorial weekend spending time with some of Trina's girlfriends. She made some really great friends when we lived over by Lake Hood, now that we are across town we don't get to see them that much, so we had to take the opportunity to get some shots of them all together!

Talus Larson

Talus just woke up from a nap and was having a hard time putting on a happy face. We had a lot of fun seeing the serious side of Talus!

Your thoughts

ABK_041, originally uploaded by dave_mdavis.

I have noticed lately that I am tending to shoot things with something in the foreground. I am really enjoying depth of field for some reason. I know this is nothing new and nothing really all that technical, but it feels good to me. What are your thoughts, is this photo appealing to anyone else?

Walker Family

The weather in Alaska has been incredible the last week so I decided I need to get out and have some fun with a camera, and the Walker's were obliged. Enjoy-Dave
