Some good friends of ours the Larsen's have started a jewelry company called Eternally Classic Jewelry. The contacted me the other day and asked if I would take some photos of their first ring (if you go to their site, you will just see prototypes). I had never done this before but was quit pleased with how they turned out. For this shot I used one SB-600 camera right with shoot through umbrella and one SB-600 camera left with Micro Apollo softbox. I also had one SB-800 with a DIY 12" snoot just barely to camera right pointed right at the ring. The ring was placed on a ceramic cooktop (I am all about using what I can)(since I lost Photoshop I am having to live with the little specs of dust on the cooktop, bummer). Not sure if I will venture more into the product photography business, but I had a good time with this one. More photos here.
